Caramel Chocolate Chunk Cookies

img_2126-1

Denise really loved the sweet hints of caramel as well as the soft chewy texture that definitely describes these cookies. In spite of the great taste that chocolate brings to a dessert, this was not another chocolate chip cookie. The cookies did last for a few days but we never got a picture until the second batch was made; I did say she loved these cookies 🙂. Anyway the second batch had more of a salted caramel taste, which was really a surprise. Still the main ingredient, the enticing chewy glob of caramel out performed all the other flavors as it swirled throughout the cookie.
